Effective June 25, 2014, the location of all meetings of the Downtown Manchester Special Services District Board of Commissioners has been changed to Axis901, 901 Main Street, Manchester, CT except if otherwise noted.
On May 7, 2014 Downtown Manchester Special Services District property owners and business lessees elected a new Board of Commissioners to serve from June 2014 through May 2016. The Board of Commissioners is the executive body governing the day-to-day operations of the District. The Board makes administrative decisions and establishes or interprets policies of the District.
The new commissioners were seated on June 4 and at which time they elected officers to serve for the two-year term. A list of commissioners and officers is as follows:

Downtown Manchester is pleased to welcome a new business, The Bread Box Bakery and Pastry Shop, to the Downtown. Located at 856 Main St. the new bakery offers a full array of cakes, pastries, flans and other delicious baked good as well as sandwiches. Patrons can enjoy coffee and their choice of sweet at the shop or take their goodies to go.
