The two-hour posted parking time limits on Main St. and side streets and the three hour limit in public parking lots is intended to regulate parking in order to provide convenient customer access. The posted 2 hour limits on Main St. apply Mon. – Sat. from 7AM to 5PM. The posted 3 hours limit in the public parking lots applies Mon. thru Fri. from 7AM to 5PM. From time to time customers may exceed the posted time limits. It is not our intent to penalize customers for spending time Downtown. Should a customer, client or patient receive a ticket from a Downtown Constable for exceeding the time limit in a legal space, the Downtown Manchester Parking Committee will request a waiver. The customer may return their ticket to the restaurant, shop or office where they conducted their business. The business owner will submit their ticket for waiver. The ticket must be submitted within 2 weeks of issue. This waiver policy does not apply to the signed 30 Minute Parking Spaces. Anyone with questions may contact the Downtown Special Services District at 860 645-2101 or DMSSD@manchesterct.gov.
Restrooms located in the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., are available to the public during library hours.
