The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, formed in 1901 as the Manchester Businessmen’s Association, is one of the oldest continuously operating Chambers in Connecticut. For over 120 years, the Chamber has worked to connect, promote, and lobby for local businesses. The Chamber currently has just under 500 members across thirty towns and is continuing to grow. The Chamber hosts grand openings for new businesses, promotes member events through their weekly newsletter, lobbies for local business interests at the municipal and state levels, and hosts regular networking events. They also offer guidance to entrepreneurs who are looking to start businesses and provide referral services. The Chamber is a great first stop for anyone who owns a business in Manchester!
